Due to inclement weather, this event has been postponed to Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
This lecture uncovers the life and achievements of Giulia Lama (1681-1747), a Venetian artist notable for her sophisticated technique, expressive style, and professional success. Unusually for a woman of her time, many drawings of nude male figures by Lama survive. Save Venice Inc. has restored several of her paintings in Venice.
Presented by Dr. Nora Gietz.
