Curator Melissa Buron, Director of Collections and Chief Curator at the V&A Museum in London, will lead Save Venice Members on a private preview tour of Monet and Venice, the first exhibition to focus on Monet’s luminous Venetian paintings since their debut in 1912. Two masterpieces, The Grand Canal, Venice from the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Brooklyn Museum’s Palazzo Ducale, are presented alongside selections from throughout Monet’s career—including 19 of his Venetian paintings. A welcome tea will precede the tour.
Hosted by Save Venice Patrons Edina Jennison and Patricia N. Olsen.
*Please note this event has limited in-person capacity and current Save Venice Members will be given priority.
