Join Save Venice members in Washington, D.C. this spring for a special experience of Tintoretto: Artist of Renaissance Venice at the National Gallery of Art with the exhibition co-curator and Save Venice Chairman, Frederick Ilchman, and Curator and Head of the department of Sculpture and Decorative Arts at the National Gallery of Art and Save Venice Board member, C.D. Dickerson III. Featuring 45 paintings and nearly a dozen drawings spanning the artist’s prolific career, this will be the first retrospective of Tintoretto in North America. Seven paintings restored with funding through Save Venice are included in the exhibition.

Additional excursion highlights include dinner at the private Residence of the Italian Ambassador, His Excellency Armando Varricchio, and curator-led tours of the National Gallery’s conservation lab, Glenstone Museum, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
