On the occasion of the exhibition Casanova: The Seduction of Europe at the Kimbell Art Museum, 36 Save Venice adventurers from all over the US and as far as the UK came together in Fort Worth and Dallas for a specially curated excursion led by art, history, and conservation experts.

At the Kimbell, guests enjoyed behind-the-scenes access to the Louis Kahn-designed conservation studio with its Director of Conservation, Claire Barry, and an exclusive after-hours tour of the Casanova exhibition with its co-curators C.D. Dickerson III and Frederick Ilchman, which concluded with a surprise performance on two Stradivarius violins by concert masters Michael Shih and Swang Lin of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Other daytime highlights included visits to the private art collections of Richard Barrett, Anne Bass, Marguerite Hoffman, and Anne and John Marion, as well as expert-led tours of the Meadows Museum, Nasher Sculpture Center, and Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. In the evenings, guests were warmly welcomed into the charming homes of George Shackelford, Bill Bostelmann, and Sarah and Philip Murrin.
